Ah, summer camp. The sun was hot, the lake was tepid, and the air was thick with mosquitos and hormones. For most of us, camp was the place we had our first kiss, first heartbreak, or, first traumatic odor experience.

We tapped into millennial nostalgia and brought Camp Funk to life as a summer campaign (typically a slower sales period for us) to support our expanding line of odor eliminators. This campaign consisted of 12 videos, each leaning into specific core memories we all have from summer camp, exclusive mailers, content created with influencers, as well as supporting emails and social.

And the results?

🤑 DTC sales were up 64% YoY

🤳 Influencer activations reached over 1.2M followers and drove 500K impressions in the first few days

📦 Our mailer program generated a dozens of earned social mentions with a 6.5M reach

👀 Satellite Media Tour resulted in over 786 broadcast and online pickups for 1 billion total impressions

▶️ YouTube saw 5.8M views
